1. Put both objects on the bench before anyone opens a calculator

Walk the documented peptide aisle as lots with intended-use language, not as a nickname catalogue. A SNAP-8 concentrate in a cosmetic pack and a freeze-dried vial that happens to print a similar sequence are not substitutes. A GHK-Cu copper peptide sold as a cosmetic raw is not a research crimp-cap just because both look ‘blue-ish’ in internet photos. Name the object: cosmetic leave-on raw, or something else that does not belong in this kettle.

2. This is not the powder-versus-concentrate dosage page

Once you already know you have a cosmetic lot, that other article asks whether you are weighing neat powder, a standardized supplier concentrate, or a named active basis. Stay here if the incoming goods are still a vial with a research story. Closing the calculator does not answer whether the vial was ever a cosmetic raw.

3. Copy intended use, INCI, form, and appearance from this file

Useful fields: INCI, described form (solution, powder, lyophilized cake), recommended cosmetic use, storage, and appearance of this lot. If the sheet is silent on cosmetic leave-on use, you do not borrow a workshop anecdote. Notes on adding peptides to creams and serums confirm that cosmetic incorporation families exist — they do not turn a research vial into a dropper raw.

4. Do not import injectable reconstitution folklore

Lyophilized research vials travel with water-for-injection stories, bacteriostatic-water folklore, and ‘units’ that are not a cosmetic % brief. None of that transfers onto a preserved leave-on. Do not write a kitchen reconstitution method here. If the object is not a cosmetic lot, stop the batch. Do not ‘make it topical’ by changing the solvent.

5. A retain is one commercial object

Do not split a research vial into a cosmetic gel ‘to compare strength’ with a documented SNAP-8 lot. They were never the same input. If purchasing received the wrong object, that is a goods-in failure, not a formula tweak. Photograph the pack and the first page of the file before anyone punches a rubber stopper ‘to save the experiment’.

6. What honest copy can say

You can say the incoming goods were classified as a cosmetic SNAP-8 or GHK-Cu lot from this file, or they were rejected as a different object. You cannot say a freeze-dried vial is ‘the same peptide, just purer’. You cannot publish an injectable-to-leave-on conversion. You cannot invent a universal reconstitution volume.
